Starter Guide for Wimob Publisher Suite
Go to www.wimob.com and click on the Publisher´s page to register and get started. You will receive an email with a link to activate your account.
Once your account has been activated, you may register your website´s domain at the Publisher´s page. You can add several urls on the same username but only one username can be used to login to access the suite.
You can upgrade your license at anytime. You can access the license manager from the Suite or from the Publisher´s page in the Wimob website.
The Wimob Suite currently works for PCs and can be downloaded and installed with just a few simple steps, once you have registered the URL of
your website.
The technical requirements for the Wimob Suite are:
- • Suite Installer size: 9.5MB
- • Estimated download time: 1 min 30 sec with DSL connection
- • Processor: Pentium 400 MHz, RAM: 96 MB
- • Recommended Processor: Pentium 1 GHz, RAM: 256 MB
- • Operating System: Windows 2003 (32-bit), XP (32-bit) or Vista (32-bit)
Create a folder on your computer to store all Wimob content, backgrounds and skins. This folder is important because it will be used by the Suite to locate all necessary files needed for publishing
Open the Wimob suite and sign in with your user name and password. Once logged in, you will land on the start page where you can select the type of content you would like to create.

Launch the appropriate content wizard (pre-converted, real time, or real time dynamic) and follow the instructions to start creating your Wimob content. You may do this directly from the Welcome page or select the content wizard icons under the “Content” tab.

Select the content you created to preview the details and make modifications. You may do this by selecting the target content in the left-side column.

Click "Generate" to generate your Wimob content

Click "View" to preview the appearance of your content inside the Wimob user application
Click on Project/Publish and the conversion process will start, creating a set of files for the different mobile formats.
Insert the Header script in between the
tags of your website. Insert the Body script in between the tags of your website, where you want to place the Wimob icon.
